Built before Boulder’s 55-foot height restriction was adopted, The Towers at Golden West, our income-variable independent living apartments, are distinctive in the surrounding landscape. At 14 stories tall, The Towers overlook the University of Colorado campus, the city of Boulder and the stately Flatirons. Several of our 255 independent living apartments offer some of the best views in town!
The Towers feature studio and one-bedroom apartments. All have wall-to-wall windows and each unit has individually-controlled thermostats, air conditioning, an emergency call system, full kitchens, an in unit storage closet, plus ample closet space. All utilities and rent are included in one convenient monthly bill.
Our residents also have access to wonderfully maintained garden areas, walking paths and plentiful outdoor seating. Our rooftop terrace is a place to soak up the sunshine, have lunch and enjoy the fresh air. Our programs department continually provides new and exciting activities and adventures. Residents can take a trip to the local museums, catch dinner and a show, or stay in for movie and popcorn night.
Golden West is dedicated to the health and well-being of our residents. Maintaining a safe and secure environment is a top priority. There is controlled access to all the buildings. Resident access is through individual security cards. Guests must enter by “buzzing” the apartment they are visiting. Our security system also allows residents to alert staff to an emergency at any time of the night or day, and a daily check-in system is in place to ensure that residents are safe.
